Brake rotors are an important part of a vehicle's braking system that, when warped or malfunctioning, it can seriously reduc. This happens as a result of a malformed brake rotor that hits the brake pads heavily whenever you brake, hence, resulting in brake fluid pressure disturbances and unfolds as a pulsating brake pedal. If the rotors are too worn, there may be scraping noises instead. If the rotor is warped, two dial gauges placed directly opposite . Most recently I put on Brembo rotors and Hawk HP pads. Over time, this pressure can bend your rotors—especially without . When driving on the highway and braking at high speeds, the brakes vibrate like the anti-lock system is kicking in, but more pronounced, and there is also vibration in the steering wheel. Constant braking: If you're ever driving down a long hill and are constantly having to keep your foot on the brake, the buildup in heat can also cause the rotor to become warped. First, rotors rarely warp. Overheating can cause a variety of related and unrelated component failures if not addressed immediately. But the wheels could have just been put on in a different position, which could have cancelled out a slight rotor imbalance. In more serious cases of warped rotors, the whole vehicle can shake or the steering pull when the driver hits the brakes. Bent Suspension parts: Difficult to ascertain without raising the care SAFELY and inspecting the suspension . Rotors are generally smooth and flat and if they are warped they can display the following signs: Noisy brakes- warped rotors contact brake pads at uneven intervals producing a squeak, squeal, or a scraping sound. The noise can range from a rhythmic thumping to pitchy groaning hum. DSC_0653
